For parents

You should not have to become
your child’s coach

Supporting an ambitious junior player can leave you acting as coach, motivator, organiser and match analyst.

Forty-Love gives your child an independent professional support system - so they receive clear guidance and accountability, while you can focus on being their parent.

Ali Collins at Wimbledon

Meet Ali Collins

Former WTA doubles World No. 110, Wimbledon competitor and Forty-Love founder.

I competed professionally on the WTA Tour before dedicating myself to coaching and building the support system I wish I had experienced as a developing player.

Junior tennis can feel fragmented - one coach for technique, another for fitness, and parents managing tournaments, emotions and motivation in between. Even committed players lose confidence when nobody is connecting the pieces.

That is why I created Forty-Love: to give each player a clear structure around their tennis, and to support the family behind them.

“I created Forty-Love to ensure every player and their family feels guided, understood and supported throughout their tennis journey.”- Ali Collins

FAQ

Your questions

How is this different from a weekly lesson at our local club?+
A traditional lesson is usually technical or tactical work on court. Forty-Love supports everything around those lessons - mindset, match analysis, fitness, preparation, accountability and weekly planning - helping your child develop with greater purpose between court sessions.
Does my child need to be highly ranked?+
No. We work with committed junior players at different levels. The programme is designed around the individual player’s goals, current ability and willingness to improve - not solely their ranking.
Can this work alongside our existing tennis coach?+
Yes - that is how most players use the programme. Forty-Love is designed to complement on-court coaching, not compete with or replace it.
How much time will my child need each week?+
Your child will attend their weekly mentoring call and complete a realistic set of agreed actions between sessions. The programme is built around their school, family and tennis commitments.
What results can we expect in the first 12 weeks?+
Every player begins from a different point, so we do not promise specific rankings, tournament wins or match outcomes. Players may improve confidence, emotional control, match preparation, tactical understanding, fitness consistency and weekly accountability. We discuss realistic progress during the assessment.
Who will coach my child?+
Your child will be supported by Ali Collins and/or the relevant specialist from the Forty-Love team, depending on the programme selected and their development needs. We explain exactly who your child will work with before you enrol.
How does communication between sessions work?+
Players receive access to the team between sessions for appropriate questions, support and accountability. This is delivered through a private WhatsApp support group that includes your child, you as their parent or guardian, their on-court coach, and anyone else you would like involved in their tennis development.
How long do players normally stay with Forty-Love?+
Forty-Love is designed as ongoing mentorship rather than a short course. Players can continue for as long as the support remains valuable to their development. We formally review progress during the first 12 weeks and regularly thereafter, so each player’s goals, priorities and level of support continue to evolve.
How much does it cost?+
Programme fees depend on the level of support and access included. The free Player Assessment will explain the available options clearly before your family makes any commitment.
How do we get started?+
Book a free Player Assessment. We will speak with you and your child, understand their current level and goals, identify their biggest development gaps and assess whether Forty-Love is the right fit. There is no pressure and no obligation.
